Jim's Cranberry Sauce

  • 1 cup orange juice with pulp
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 bag Twin Lake Cranberries
  • 1/2 orange peeled and cut in pieces
  • 1/2 honey crisp apple cored and cut in pieces
  • 1/4 cup walnuts chopped


  • Dissolve brown sugar in orange juice over medium heat until it comes to a boil. Add rinsed cranberries. Bring back to a boil. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes. As cranberries cool add apples, orange and walnuts. Cool at room temperature about 1/2 hour and refrigerate. You may add more or less brown sugar to suit your taste.
